Israeli aggression in al-Aqsa again; 17 injured Tensions flare as Israeli police enter Al-Aqsa Mosque again

JERUSALEM: Israeli violence in al-Aqsa mosque again. After the morning prayers, the Israeli army stormed the mosque and unleashed violence against Muslims. The military says the move is aimed at facilitating the visit of Jews arriving from Israel at 7am.

Palestinian health workers say 17 people have been injured in Israeli violence. Three of them were rushed to hospital. Palestinian health workers said the gunshot wound was caused by a rubber bullet. This was after the evacuation of Muslims from the mosque compound.

Earlier in the day, 158 Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Masjid al-Aqsa compound in occupied East Jerusalem. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a mosque in the northern city of Mosul. TRT World reported, citing local media, that the army used grenades and tear gas. The injured were shifted from the church to the hospital. Videos of Palestinians throwing stones at police and police using tear gas and stun grenades have been circulating on social media.
