An Air Force fighter jet recently bombed the operational infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Maroun al-Ras area in southern Lebanon.

Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said, “Earlier today, several interceptor missiles were launched at several suspicious air targets over Lebanese territory in the Yaron and Rmish area, knowing that these events have ended.”

Israel launched a raid on an area near the city of Tyre, southern Lebanon, on Sunday, in the first bombing of this area since the escalation with Hezbollah that began coinciding with the Gaza war.

A Sky News Arabia correspondent reported that the targeted area is located between Siddiqin and Qana.

Tensions continued on the border between Lebanon and Israel on that day, as it witnessed heavy overflights by Israeli aircraft in the central and eastern sectors, with successive explosions being heard resulting from a series of raids.
