The Israeli army announced on Sunday that it attacked Hezbollah targets in the towns of Aita al-Shaab and al-Adisa in southern Lebanon.
The army said in a statement: “Air Force aircraft attacked a Hezbollah military facility in the Aita al-Shaab area in southern Lebanon, and another military infrastructure for the organization in the Al-Adisa area, after fighters from the 869th Battalion (of the army) identified fighters there.”
He added that he “observed the firing of 3 anti-tank missiles at the Shtola area and Mount Al-Manara in the Galilee (north).”
The Israeli army added that it “bombed rocket launchers and other targets in southern Lebanon.”
Raids on Al-Adissa, Mays Al-Jabal and Blida
The National News Agency reported that an Israeli Merkava tank in the “Miskav Am” colony fired 3 shells directly towards the east of the town of Al-Adissa.
The occupation army artillery also targeted the town of Al-Bustan in the western sector with two shells, according to the agency. It indicated that Israeli warplanes launched two raids on the “Tufa” area between Mays al-Jabal and Blida.
Hezbollah targets the Metulla colony and the Baranit barracks
For its part, Lebanese Hezbollah announced that its fighters targeted, on Sunday evening, a building where Israeli occupation soldiers were stationed in the Metulla colony, with appropriate weapons, and directly hit it.
Hezbollah fighters also targeted a gathering of Israeli army soldiers in the vicinity of the Pranit barracks, and a building where occupation soldiers are stationed in the Al-Manara settlement.
The party mourned one of its members, Hussein Ali Arslan “Mustafa,” from the town of Taybeh in southern Lebanon, who was martyred during the confrontations.
Earlier on Sunday, a Syrian worker died of his wounds after he was injured when Israel targeted a car in the Western Bekaa, eastern Lebanon, according to the National News Agency.
