Today, Tuesday, Deputy Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Saleh Al-Arouri, died a martyr as a result of an Israeli aggression in the southern suburb of Beirut.
The National News Agency (Lebanon) reported that “an Israeli hostile march targeted an office of the Hamas movement” in the southern suburb of Beirut, while ambulances arrived in the area to transport the injured.
Six other leaders and cadres of the movement were also martyred as a result of targeting a building with three missiles from a drone. They are the Qassami Commander Samir Fandi – Abu Amer, the Qassami Commander Azzam Al-Aqra’ – Abu Abdullah, the martyr Mahmoud Zaki Shaheen, the martyr Muhammad Bashasha, the martyr Muhammad Al-Rayes, And the martyr Ahmed Hammoud.

Sheikh Al-Arouri is a Palestinian political and military leader. He assumed the position of deputy head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” and contributed to establishing its military wing, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, in the West Bank.

Al-Arouri stressed that the resistance leaders “are part of the Palestinian people, and do not differ from all the people,” recalling that all Palestinian resistance factions presented martyred leaders at all levels, stressing that this “is not considered strange” to Hamas and the various resistance movements.

Repeated threats by the occupation to assassinate Al-Arouri
Recently, the Israeli media reported repeated threats by the occupation to assassinate Sheikh Al-Arouri.
The Yedioth Ahronoth website reported earlier that officials in the Israeli security establishment had threatened in the past to assassinate Al-Arouri, to prevent the “unification of the arenas” scenario.
He pointed out that retired Eitan Dangote, who was the military secretary for three security ministers, has been calling for this for several years, saying that he is “the most dangerous and most important person in Hamas today. He is a deadly man, and his goal is to kill as many Israelis as possible.”
Israeli journalist Elior Levy said, “It is important to realize that Al-Arouri is a strategist, and he can be described as the brilliant mind of Hamas in everything related to framing the movement’s military apparatus outside the Gaza Strip.”
Levy added that Al-Arouri “has become one of the central officials who operates the Israeli security establishment and other intelligence agencies in the world.”
