Washington: GCC ministers have written to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken against the Israeli finance minister’s anti-Palestinian remarks. GCC Foreign Ministers have sent a letter demanding that the US stand ready to defend all actions against the Palestinian people.
According to the report released by Al Arabia News, the world nations should be ready to find a permanent solution to the Israeli-Palestinian problems under the leadership of the United States.
The statement made by Bezalel Smotrich, the leader of the extreme right in Israel and the Minister of Finance in Netanyahu’s cabinet, led to a great discussion. Questioning the stability of the Palestinian people, Smotrich said that such a people did not exist.
Arab countries protested against this. Following this, the Arab countries have come forward demanding the intervention of the United States in the incident.
The US has already condemned Smotrich’s statement. Terming the remark as extremely dangerous, the US said that the statements threatening the peace in the region are not good for both the countries.
