The armed wing of the Palestinian group Hamas has warned that it will kill an Israeli hostage every time Israel bombs a civilian target in the Gaza Strip without warning.
Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, said in an audio released Monday night that the threat is in response to intense Israeli airstrikes on civilian areas.
“We have decided to put an end to this and for the moment we declare that attacking our people in their homes without prior warning will unfortunately be answered with the execution of one of the civilian hostages we have,” he declared.
