Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre at Al-Fakhoura School, affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA), in the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza, which houses thousands of displaced people.
Palestinian medical and local sources said that the Israeli army bombed Al-Fakhoura School, killing and wounding dozens in the school.
The sources indicated that the bodies of the martyrs cover the school corridors, and there is difficulty in transporting the large number of martyrs.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that hundreds of martyrs and wounded were killed in two occupation massacres in Al-Fakhoura and Tal Al-Zaatar schools.
Initial estimates indicate that dozens were martyred as a result of the new massacre, at Al Fakhoura School, while journalist Imad Zaqout told Al Jazeera that about 200 martyrs fell in the new massacre.
Medical sources reported that dozens of martyrs as a result of the Fakhurah massacre arrived at the Indonesian hospital.
Testimonials and scenes
A photojournalist for Al Jazeera documented special scenes from inside Al Fakhoura School. The video scenes showed the state of devastation and severe damage to the school following the Israeli bombing.
Al Jazeera also obtained special certificates from Kamal Adwan Hospital for displaced people who were injured as a result of the massacre committed by the occupation army against them at Al Fakhoura School in the northern Gaza Strip.
The displaced people said that they were subjected to Israeli bombing inside the school, and that ambulances and rescue crews did not reach them as a result of it being out of service.
The pictures show that the majority of the victims were children and women, who were crowded inside the departments of the Kamal Adwan Medical Complex.
Medical teams are trying to provide first aid and other medical care to the injured in light of limited capabilities.
UNRWA media advisor Adnan Abu Hasna told Al Jazeera, “We inform the Israeli side daily of the locations of our schools and centers for the displaced.”

Reactions
Commenting on the Israeli bombing of the school, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said, “We will not leave this land, and you will be held accountable for your massacre in Al Fakhoura and your continued crimes against children and civilians, whether long or short.”
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry considered, in a statement, that “the Al-Fakhoura School massacre proves that Israel’s declared war on civilians aims to empty the entire area of the northern Gaza Strip of any Palestinian presence.”
On the fourth of this month, the Israeli bombing targeted Al-Fakhoura School, leading to the death and injury of dozens.
It is noteworthy that Al-Fakhoura School is the largest school in Jabalia Camp, and it has been bombed more than once in recent years. In 2009, the occupation bombed it, killing more than 40, and in 2014, the occupation bombed it again, killing more than 10 displaced people.
