Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has left hospital in “excellent condition” after a night spent there due to feeling dizzy, according to the hospital and his office.
Netanyahu, 73, was taken Saturday afternoon to Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv, after spending some time Friday in the sweltering heat of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel.
According to the head of the cardiology department at the Israeli hospital, Two Years, Segev, Netanyahu underwent a series of examinations on Saturday night, and he is in excellent condition. “After all the tests that were carried out, it was found that dehydration was the reason for Netanyahu’s hospitalization,” Segev said in a statement.
The head of the department explained that “a Holter monitor was placed under the skin in order to continue the regular monitoring of Netanyahu’s heart.”
The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that he had “left Sheba Hospital”.
