Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinian gunmen following they opened fire on an army post near a Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. “Their successful operation prevented an attack on Israeli citizens,” he added in a statement. He said earlier that his forces managed to “neutralize” two militants.
