Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah, stated that Zayed Humanitarian Day is a significant national event. They are committed to reviving it by initiating charitable programs to continue their humanitarian efforts. Sheikh Salem Al Qasimi added that the Charity Exhibition was launched to bring joy to cancer patients and their families by having breakfast together as a family. This represents the values of happiness, brotherhood and noble ideas that are essential in the journey towards success, progress and prosperity in the homeland of Sheikh Zayed the Good. These statements were made during the “Love and Loyalty for Zayed Giving” event organized by the Emirates Cancer Society, which has included a breakfast for cancer patients, the opening of a charity exhibition for Eid and Eid clothing, which benefited over 360 families. The event was attended by several officials including His Excellency Dr. Salem bin Rakkad Al-Amiri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Mahra Muhammad bin Saray, Director of the Association’s office in Ras Al-Khaimah, businessmen, institutions, and supporting parties. Dr. Salem bin Rakkad explained that this event has a humanitarian message to support people with cancer, which is part of their celebration of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, where they remember the high standards of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “May God rest his soul in peace,” who through his humanitarian initiatives, established the foundations of charitable and humanitarian work, making history by preserving human rights and making people happy through the state’s efforts.
