The sources also revealed to Asharq Al-Awsat that the special operation took place inside a house on Hamid Street in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City, when a special Israeli force infiltrated the camp, using an ambulance with two armed members of the force inside. They stormed the house and shot two of the captives. While a third managed to survive, they freed the Israeli prisoner from the house, and returned her to Israel.

Field investigations conducted by Hamas revealed that the force infiltrated from the axis of the northwestern area of the Gaza Strip near Al-Atatra and from there to the coastal camp of Al-Shati, and from other roads in the camp and its surroundings, it returned to the coastal road and from there to the location of its forces’ concentration.

According to investigations, the perpetrators of the operation from the Israeli force spoke Arabic fluently, and when they arrived at the house, they were carrying pistols with a silencer and attacked the place. They immediately opened fire on those inside the house, then introduced themselves to the captive, and took her to the northwestern border with the town of Beit Lahia.

The sources added that a vehicle bearing a Palestinian registration plate was accompanying the force to intervene in any emergency, while warplanes flew intensely and led an air cover operation by launching mock raids in the vicinity of the area, and launching real raids in the vicinity of the Al-Rimal neighborhood and other nearby areas.

According to the sources, the prisoner was with a small armed group, and she was transferred to the house that witnessed her liberation in order to hand her over to members of the “Al-Qassam Brigades.” However, Israeli intelligence was able to monitor these movements and succeeded in reaching her a few hours after she was handed over to the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” and before That the “Brigades” succeed in transferring them to another safe place.

At the time, the “Al-Qassam Brigades” had denied, through its spokesman, through an audio recording, Israel’s story about the liberation of the female soldier, stressing that if that had actually happened, the Israeli female soldier might have been detained by parties unrelated to the “Brigades.”
