Jerusalem – Regardless massive protests Israel’s parliament approved a draft law in the context of the controversial judiciary reform in the first reading. After hours of debate on Tuesday night, 64 out of 120 MPs voted in favor of a law intended to restrict the Supreme Court’s scope for action. 56 voted once morest. Two more readings are needed before the change comes into force.
