Israel’s military is taking action against possible intruders from Lebanon

The military said they were looking for other suspects. According to Israeli media reports, there were exchanges of fire. Israeli television reported that residents in the north of the country had been ordered to stay in shelters. Hezbollah denied an operation on Israeli soil.

According to an Israeli TV report, at least two intruders were killed. According to a radio report, the intrusion apparently occurred in the middle part of the border between Israel and Lebanon.

The Shiite organization Hezbollah, which is closely allied with Iran, claimed responsibility for a rocket fire from southeast Lebanon into the Israeli border area on Sunday. There was another rocket alarm in northern Israel on Monday.
