“Extra com” announces the holding of the first edition of “IT Career”, the first Fair dedicated to young people who are interested in building a career in the IT sector. The event is organized in partnership with the radio “Express FM”, the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, the Ministry of Communication Technologies, GIZ and also the Corp (Centre for Vocational Orientation and Retraining) , and Central University.
The Fair will be held on March 17 and 18 at the Palais des Congrès in Tunis. Career IT aims to give the opportunity to professionals and young students or graduates (IT baccalaureate 2022-2023) who are interested in retraining their professional careers, to meet experts in the IT sector in order to obtain internship opportunities and /or hiring for new professions in this sector and/or boosting their technical and personal skills through certifying training.
The Fair will host training centers in the field of IT, pioneering state and private establishments in the field of IT, a pavilion for companies offering work-study contracts, internships, job offers, etc. as well as an inverted “Job fair”: IT converts trained by the “Corp” teams who will present their skills with a view to being recruited during the days of the Show.
A rich and varied program
Visitors will be made up of young professionals who want to convert to the IT field and who are looking to discover the specialties and certifications most in demand on the market, senior professionals who are looking for new opportunities in the job market in the field. of IT, high school graduates (computer science baccalaureate session 2022-2023) who seek assistance for their orientation towards the professions and opportunities of several specialties in this field, and any individual (specialties combined) who wants to discover the world of IT and see the technological trends of the sector in which it operates.
Five panels with the presence of stakeholders in the IT professions will be organized during this event in addition to 30 workshop sessions provided by carefully selected experts in the field and which include the most requested specialties (professional retraining, Blockchain, IA , Metaverse, Digital Marketing, cyber-security, IOT, Data Science, Fintech, Profiling, career plan, etc.).
An “Express FM” radio station will be set up during the two days of the Show to discuss with the main players in the sector. Also on the program is a business pavilion dedicated to young job seekers and a “Corp” area for young people who have recently completed a professional retraining program and are looking for work, each with an individual stand for meetings with recruiters and HR managers.
