“The national team once again confirmed the status of one of the leaders in world sports. As many have already noted, 32 medals is a record for our team in Olympicsthe price of each medal is certainly high – whether it be gold, silver or bronze.
We are the best in silver and bronze medals, second in total.
I thought that we were the only ones who thought so about the second place in the unofficial team standings, but if you look at the foreign press, they write that the Norwegian team is the first, and Russia is the second.
You can relate to this in any way, but I am sure that it is necessary to revise the format for assessing the participation of countries in the Olympic Games, ”said Matytsin at the ceremony honoring the Olympians.
