The National Weather Service (SMN) launched a snow alert this followingnoon in a large part of the Neuquén mountain rangefollowing the rainstorm that mainly affected the center and north of the province.

Issued early Tuesday morning, the yellow alert will be felt during tonight and until Wednesday morning inclusive.

It will affect the Aluminé, Chos Malal, Loncopué, Minas, Picunches and Ñorquín mountain ranges.

The area will be affected by Persistent snowfalls of varying intensity, some locally strong. In high mountain areas, values ​​of accumulated snow between 20 and 30 cm. While in areas of lower elevation, it is expected values ​​between 10 and 15 cm of accumulated snow, and can be exceeded in a timely manner.
