A week after the announcement of its competitor Leclerc, Lidl will also sell its baguette at 29 cents. The executive director of Lidl France Michel Biero has thus confirmed that the brand will align itself with its competitor.
The baguette “has been 35 cents for 10 years with everyone, so it lowers the price by 18%, but it will obviously drop to 29 cents,” he added.
