In 41 urban areas of the United States, by 2023 new numbers of Basic salary as the fruit of labor. The cities are located in 27 states of the country and their residents will benefit from higher quotas than they received in 2022.
The government’s decision is taken to reduce the negative impact of high prices imposed by inflation in the nation. The schedule of dates to make the increase valid is different in all territories.
But in many places they will start collecting the new salary from the first days of next year. The Economic Policy Institute calculated that 8 million 400 thousand employees will benefit from future compensation.
The figures are different according to the place
In Alaska it will be charged $10.85 USD an hour on January 1, 2023 and that same day the increase will begin in Arizona, $13.85 USD. The California region will increase payments to $15.50 USD per hour on the first day of 2023, as will Colorado, $13.65 USD.
In South Dakota they will reward $10.80 USD at the beginning of the new year and the increase will also reach Delaware on that date up to $11.75 USD. The state of Illinois will pay $13.00 USD on January 1 and the same day the salary in Maine will rise up to $12.75 USD.
In Maryland and Massachusetts, more will be entered from the first day of 2023, the first will pay $12.50 USD and the second will be $15.00 USD. Michigan will start its new stipends on January 1 with $10.10 USD and Missouri will start on the same date with $12.00 USD.
Nebraska and New Jersey will raise wages on the first day of next January, one capping it at $10.50 USD and the other at $14.00 USD. The other states that will add dollars to wages are Connecticut, Florida, Minnesota and Montana. In addition there are Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and Washington.
