“It would have been elegant to invite me”: an actor of “Plus belle la vie” excluded from the end of filming party

The “Plus belle la vie” adventure ended on September 29 for everyone: the actors, the technical teams, the scriptwriters… To celebrate the end of the filming of the series, a party was organized in Marseille on September 30. Everyone took part, except Jean-François Malet, alias Brigadier Jean-François Leblanc, who was simply not invited.

In 2015, following tensions within the teams, Jean-François Malet left the series, which greatly displeased the spectators since he embodied a popular character.

“We don’t dance on a coffin”

The comedian posted his disappointment on social media: “Of course, I wouldn’t have participated in the ‘party’ but it would have been elegant to invite me”, he said. Why ? “We don’t dance on a coffin”he answers. “Is I’m not going to complain but it’s quite telling. Apart from the technical teams and a few actors and actresses, I was never really in my place”continues Jean-François Malet, whose departure has obviously not been forgotten…
