In France, few cities do not have at least one Italian restaurant or caterer. Italian cuisine, cheap, simple and very tasty, is the favorite of the majority of French people. Every year, Italian exports to France bring in nearly 45 billion euros for the country. Unfortunately, the scourge of fake “made in Italy” is estimated at 100 billion euros. A study has alerted to increasingly massive culinary deceptions. Thus six out of ten Italian food products sold on the international market would be counterfeit.
