Italy Election: Final Result Confirms Majority For Rights Under Meloni – Italy

ROME – The right-wing coalition led by the post-fascist party Fratelli d’Italia (FdI) won as expected an absolute majority in both chambers of parliament in Italy’s general elections on Sunday. The FdI alone under Giorgia Meloni, who is likely to become prime minister, received 26 percent of the votes according to the official results of the election published on Tuesday by the Ministry of the Interior in Rome.
