Rome – The Italian government has postponed the decision on the venue for the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton races at the 2026 Olympic Games. Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini called for the construction of a new railway in Cortina d’Ampezzo at a meeting in Rome on Tuesday evening. The Lega party’s deputy head of government assured that such a project would not cost the Italians “a cent extra.”
