“The data is clear. April is really the right month to shop for the next BBQ,” assured the expert in price monitoring and product comparison on the show “À vosaffaires”.
“There are two reasons for this. The first is the new models that some manufacturers are launching this month – there may be small introductory discounts – and the second reason, and the main one, is that models from previous years are going to be at a deeper discount,” continued Mr. Gandelin.
The same rule applies to several other outdoor product lines, such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers and pressure washers.
At home, it’s a good time to watch for discounts on robot vacuum cleaners and kitchenware, explained Julien Gandelin.
On the other hand, it will be better to wait until May for equipment related to outdoor activities, such as camping equipment or electric bikes, judges the expert.
