During the congress of the party of Unity and Rally (PUR), spokesperson Cheikh Tidiane Sarr discussed the party’s goals for the next election cycle, including development projects and their candidate for 2024, Serigne Moustapha Sy. Sarr also criticized the corrupt and unreliable nature of politicians in the country. Regarding party leader Idrissa Seck’s recent statements, Sarr dismissed his attempts to regain political favor, stating that it is a waste of time.
During the ordinary congress of renewal of the authorities of the party of Unity and Rally (PUR), the spokesperson of the day, Cheikh Tidiane Sarr returned to the objectives of the PUR for the next electoral deadline in terms of development projects while recalling that Serigne Moustapha Sy is their candidate in 2024.
According to him, “from 1960 to the present day, the way of doing politics has remained as it is. The politicians of this country have only one common denominator: corruption, the waste of taxpayers’ money and the non-respect of the given word which must disappear from the political scene”.
Returning to the recent outing of party leader Rewmi Idrissa Seck, the member of the PUR board said: “He is trying to regain his political virginity. It is impossible because he has already lost it”. And to add: “Lamigne bou nehk ak Di tari ayya, tour nit yi leundeum souféké lolou la Yakaar for dougatt si kholou nitt yi, it’s a waste of time!”
