Bayonetta returns for a new adventure filled with intense action and fierce combat with Bayonetta 3which will be released on October 28 on Switch. The new game trailer, Bayonetta 3 – The Witch returns this fall! shows new images of Bayonetta as well as her allies, new and old, in addition to presenting the unprecedented threat she will face. In this third installment of the series Bayonettathe implacable witch of the Umbra will have to work with known faces, many alternate versions of herself and as well as with the mysterious Viola to prevent homunculi, biological weapons created by humans, from wreaking havoc.
Players will be able to use Bayonetta’s arsenal as well as use a new technique, the demonic masqueradeto plumb, slice and smash their enemies in a festival of spectacular combos and demonic power to fight against an evil new force determined to plunge humanity into chaos.
The new trailer for the game has revealed some new information about Bayonetta’s next adventure as well as some of the new characters she’ll meet:
- Bayonetta in all its forms : encounter a multitude of alternate Bayonettas, each more fabulous than the next, while raining down punishment on the streets of Tokyo, on the mountains of China and in many other settings! Find out what the future holds for them and if this new alliance will be able to save reality.
- Viola enters the scene : in addition to Bayonetta, it will also be possible to punish the homunculi by embodying Viola, an apprentice witch armed with a sword and accompanied by a feline demon named Chouchou.
A Trinity Masquerade Edition will also be available on October 28. It includes a fully colored 200-page artbook showcasing the cast and bestiary of Bayonetta 3plus three special cover illustrations, one for each title in the series, that fit together to form a panorama.
Additionally, the original game Bayonetta will also arrive in physical version on September 30 on Nintendo Switch.
