It’s official! Digimon Survive already has a release date

We are many Digimon fans who have been waiting for the release of the new title of the franchise for a long time; and after multiple delays and long silences from Bandai Namco, we finally have the official release date of Digimon Survive.

If, like the person signing these words, you have been attentive to the development of Digimon Surviveyou may already know that recently the popular magazine V-Jump announced that the title would be available in Japan from June 28. However, this announcement only referred to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions, but luckily for us, We already have the official release date on all platforms.

Digimon Survive will be available starting June 29

Asian users will have the opportunity to enjoy this long-awaited title starting on June 28; and as usual in this type of release, the game will be available for the rest of the world one day later, that is, on June 29. In other words, we will only have to wait a little over two months to be able to get our hands on Digimon Survive, a wait that will fly by if we compare it with the almost 4 years that have passed since the title was announced.

in this new adventure we will put ourselves in the shoes of a new group of chosen children, who after getting lost during a school excursion find themselves transported to a mysterious new world full of dangers, but also full of familiar faces who will fight side by side with our new protagonists in their adventure to return home.

As a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Digimon anime, Digimon Survive features a new adventure set in a mysterious world with characters designed by Uichi Ukumo and music by acclaimed Tomoki Miyoshi. Players’ choices will affect the evolution of their allied monsters and the outcome of the quest. The combats in the game are fought in 2D, in the purest style of a tactical role-playing game.
