The lucky winner promised to pray for artificial intelligence.
In Thailand, a player claims to have won the lottery using ChatGPT. In a video posted on TikTok on April 3, Patthawikorn Boonrin explains that a few hours before the draw, he asked the artificial intelligence which numbers to play for the evening lottery.
ChatGPT then advises him to play the following numbers: 57, 27, 29 and 99. And that evening, the 99 fell, which allowed the player to win the modest sum of 2000 baht, or just under 53 euros.

However, before the artificial intelligence gave him one of the right numbers, the man had to be patient. When he asked which numbers to play the lottery, ChatGPT first replied that the lottery was unpredictable and even advised him to go play sports instead.
He then turned his question another way and the artificial intelligence ended up answering him that even if everything was random, some numbers come out more often than others. And to specify that it was necessary “choosing the numbers you want to play randomly or following your intuition rather than relying on past statistics”.
In an interview with the Thai newspaper CatDumb and translated into French by the site thai369.com, the winner promised to go pray for artificial intelligence after this meager success. “It’s time to pray the robot!”, did he declare.
