The Sedisal company is recalling, in consultation with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), Itsaluz brand cod steaks due to an incorrect expiration date mentioned on the label, said Friday the company by press release. The product was available in three Intermarchés in Wallonia.
This “ready-to-cook desalinated cod steak” is packaged in a 250 gram tray, bears batch number 051223 and was offered for sale between December 21 and January 17 at the Intermarchés stores in Gembloux, Blonden and Maisières.
Sedisal asks its customers to return the product to the point of sale at which it was purchased. The item will be refunded to them.
