JA Mitsui Leasing Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Keito Shimbu, President and Chief Executive Officer; hereinafter referred to as “JAML”) announced that, through our subsidiary, JA Mitsui Leasing Capital Corporation (Headquarters: NY, USA; Kiyoshi Doi, Director, President; hereinafter referred to as “JMCC”), we acquired a 100% interest in Katsumi Global, LLC (Headquarters: Michigan, USA; Tim King, Executive Director; hereinafter referred to as “KG”).
1. Investment History and Purpose
JAML is expanding our business in North America under our Mid-Term Management Plan, ie “Real Change 2025”. JMCC will leverage KG’s platform, experience with working capital solutions such as supply chain finance, and people in combination with financial strength and JAML’s customer network in order to expand the services provided to customers in North America.
