James Gunn is the creator, director, screenwriter and executive producer ofe The Peacemaker, series of HBO Max starring John Cena which just finished its first season. Jennifer Holland also appears in fiction, who maintains a romantic relationship with Gunn. Both artists will take another step in their romance, since they have announced their engagement.
Gunn shared on Instagram a photo of Holland, who plays Emilia Harcourt, wearing an engagement ring. For her part, she posted an image of both together with a text that simply said “happiness”. James Gunn and Holland have been a couple since 2015.
They worked together for the first time in The son, a 2019 film that Gunn produced and in which Holland co-starred with Jackson A. Dunn and Elizabeth Banks. They met again in 2021’s Suicide Squad, which marked Emilia Harcourt’s debut in the DC Extended Universe. In addition, Holland has participated in other productions such as American Horror Story, Sun Records o Bones.
It will be the first marriage for Holland. For her part, Gunn already walked down the aisle in 2000 with actress Jenna Fischerknown for her role as Pam in The Office. They broke up in 2009.
The announcement of their engagement comes days after The Peacemaker was renewed for a second season. “Create the Peacemaker It has been one of the highlights of my life, both professionally and personally, with John Cena and the amazing creative team around me, as well as our partners at HBO Max.
