The victim, identified in local reports as a 43-year-old man named Yuki, arrived in Thailand with a simple, joyful itinerary: celebrating his Thai partner’s birthday. Unfamiliar with the complex layout around the Makkasan terminal, the tourist accidentally wandered into an overgrown, abandoned patch of land adjacent to the station.
What should have been a routine transit walk turned hostile quickly. Yuki emerged from the darkness later that evening bearing visible facial injuries. Arthit, who was resting his vehicle beneath the elevated station structures at around 8:00 p.m., reported hearing a commotion and observing several teenagers fleeing the neglected zone on two motorcycles.
