After a serious accident at the MIRROR concert, the rest of the concert was suspended, and the 12 members immediately stopped work. MIRROR was invited to attend the SUMMER SONIC Music Festival in Tokyo, Japan in August. Today, the organizer officially announced that MIRROR will cancel the performance.
SUMMER SONIC announces news on social platforms in Japanese and English. The Japanese sign stated that MIRROR was resigning due to “unpredictable circumstances”, while the English version only mentioned “unable to take part”, and apologized to fans, and hoped that MIRROR might participate in the future. The convention originally arranged for MIRROR to perform on the morning of August 20, but now the convention program schedule has added the word “cancel” to the relevant time slot.
This was originally MIRROR’s first time to participate in a large-scale overseas music festival. Earlier, a travel agency even organized a tour group with tickets for the music festival. The group fee starts from 20,000 mosquitoes.
