Forward Jared Davidson stole the show Friday morning in the third intra-squad game of the Montreal Canadiens’ training camp by scoring a hat trick.
Leading Team A to a 3-1 victory over Group C, Davidson scored his first goal in the opening period by jumping on a return shot in the slot.
Then, during the second and final engagement, CH’s 5th round choice in 2022 who is looking for a contract followed up with two quick goals. He first completed a set-up by Ty Smilanic, before being launched into a breakaway by captain Nick Suzuki as soon as play resumed.
Mattias Norlinder scored the only goal for Team C, shortly before the final whistle.
