‘Nico’ lives the best weeks of his career since he returned to professional tennis following a doping sanction in 2020. 14 days ago, he was playing the ATP 500 qualy in Rio, being number 139 in the world, but in Brazil he managed to reach the semifinals to jump to 87th place and now, thanks to a Special Exempt, he entered the Chile Open directly and in the final, he made sure to return to the Top 70.

In the last two weeks, Jarry defeated Lorenzo Musetti, Pedro Martínez Portero, Sebastián Báez, Juan Pablo Varillas, Diego Schwartzman, Yannick Hanfmann and Jaume Munar and only lost to Carlos Alcaraz in Brazil. This Sunday, he will challenge Tomás Etcheverry.
