Chief of War: Jason Momoa in Hawaii-Historiendrama von Apple

Jason Momoa, who previously directed the Apple adventure series Sea, will star in the historical Hawaiian miniseries Chief of War, which explores the colonization of the island from the perspective of the colonized.

Schauspieler Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, See, „Aquaman‘) will appear in, co-write and co-produce Apple TV+’s direct-to-series historical series Chief Of War. Loud Deadline are next to him also Thomas Pa’a Sibbett (“brave“) as series co-creator, Francis Lawrence (“The Hunger Games“) As Executive Producer and Doug Jung (Mindhunter) as Showrunner on board.

Chief of War‘ will consist of eight episodes and tell of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from the perspective of the indigenous people. Momoa herself grew up in the US state of Iowa, but was born in the Hawaiian capital, Honolulu.

Endeavor Content and Chernin Entertainment are producing the format.

Momoa will also remain on Apple TV+ as there will be a third season of the post-apocalyptic adventure series See.
