During the meeting with his congregation, the pastor of the Iglesia Cristiana Maranatha Venezuela, Javier Bertucci, announced that he was completely healthy, after receiving a cancer diagnosis months ago.
The also deputy of the National Assembly (AN) went to a medical consultation to start the corresponding treatment; however, the report that he claims was done twice, did not show any trace of cancer, and instead, he was declared medically healthy and without any comorbidity.
“I repeated the exam, and the doctor confirmed my current state of health. The doctor told me: I can’t treat someone who is healthy. There is no vestige of cancer in your body,” he recounted.
Bertucci attributes this healing to Jesus Christ and his goodness, after different churches inside and outside the country prayed and fasted for months, so that the diagnosis would be reversed.
“We let science go as far as it can, and after that, we use faith to go where science can’t,” Bertucci urged the church, during his message of faith and hope in God.
He also reported that over the next few days he will be progressively returning to the parliamentary activities that concern him, as well as his responsibilities with the organizations he leads.
