Jean-Pierre Ferland is currently hospitalized following having had a bad fall a few days ago, a relative of the singer told TVA Nouvelles.
This fall would have resulted in an accumulation of water or blood in the lungs.
The 88-year-old singer-songwriter is due to meet with his medical team this morning for more details.
No changes to the artist’s schedule are planned at this time.
