Professional soccer K-League 1 Jeju United, which is starting the 2024 season under coach Kim Hak-beom, announced that it has recruited Kim Tae-hwan, a ‘multiplayer’ who can play as a defender, midfielder, and attacker.

Kim Tae-hwan signed a semi-professional contract in 2018 while serving as captain of Suwon Samsung youth team Maetango, and made his debut in the K-League the following year, playing 109 games in Suwon alone until last season.

Kim Tae-hwan, who played for national teams at each level and age group and was also called up to the domestic winter training of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic team led by coach Kim Hak-beom, reunited with coach Kim in Jeju.

Kim Tae-hwan also participated in the U-23 Asian Cup held in Uzbekistan in June 2022.

Jeju said, “Kim Tae-hwan is an all-round multi-player who can play not only as a right-side defender, which is his main position, but also as a side winger, central midfielder, and front-line striker,” and added, “With the addition of Kim Tae-hwan, who boasts a wide range of activities, the range of tactical operations will expand.” “I expected it to be a view.”

Kim Tae-hwan said, “I am leaving Suwon and starting a new challenge in Jeju. I am looking forward to meeting coach Kim Hak-beom,” and added, “I want to become a player who develops further through friendly competition and a person who brings vitality to the team.” I told you.
