This Sunday evening, Jenifer appeared in a mini-dress on the Champs-Elysées during a fashion show organized for “Pink October”. A great evening in the company of other celebrities.

As a reminder, Pink October is an annual communication campaign intended to raise awareness among women about breast cancer screening and to raise funds for research. The symbol of this event is the pink ribbon, which is also the name of the first association in France dedicated to this cause (it was founded in 1994, editor’s note). This Sunday, it organized a parade on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, attended by thousands of people.

Three emblematic French monuments were lit up in pink to contribute to raising awareness alongside the Association: the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and the National Assembly. 99 women and 1 man, affected by, in remission or cured of breast cancer, as well as 100 white coats (researchers, doctors, caregivers) were gathered on the most famous avenue in the world. They were all surrounded by Evelyne Dhéliat, Claudia Tagbo and Alice Detollenaere, godmothers of the association and also affected by breast cancer. An event also marked in music with a concert by the singer Jenifer.

Getting tested saves lives

The latter wore a pink mini-dress, in the colors of the association, combined with a white coat, in tribute to the researchers, doctors and caregivers who also fight against breast cancer. The former Star Academy winner performed in front of the Arc de Triomphe We Dance or My revolution before heading to his Instagram account later in the evening to share photos of it, writing this: “Breast cancer should no longer be anything but inevitable. Getting tested saves lives. Do it for yourself, for others and let’s talk about it very loudly around us. And let’s all continue together to support researchers and patients who fight cancerr”.

A beautiful message of hope from the artist, who as a reminder is very committed. Indeed, as everyone knows very often, she is part of the Enfoirés troupe and has also already shown herself alongside young victims of homophobia with the Le Refuge association. She also sang for Laurette Fugain or INPESwhich fight leukemia and hearing loss respectively.
