Pro soccer Jeonbuk Hyundai manager Kim Sang-sik stepped down from the command tower.
Jeonbuk announced on the 4th, “Director Kim Sang-sik informed the club of his intention to resign due to personal reasons, and the club accepted it.”
It seems that he resigned voluntarily, taking responsibility for his poor performance this season.
Until a successor is appointed, head coach Kim Doo-hyun takes over as acting manager.
After wearing the Jeonbuk uniform in 2009 when he was a player, the end of 15 years of companionship with coach Kim and Jeonbuk, from coach to manager. After serving as playing coach in 2013 and head coach from 2014 to 2020, Kim took over as coach Jose Morais in 2021 and rose to the command tower of Jeonbuk.

This season, Jeonbuk fell to 10th place (3 wins, 1 draw, 6 losses, 10 points) amidst defensive instability and line injuries to strikers.
