‘Jeongi’ Kim Hyeon-joo “‘Hell’ action and even emotions… Special genre glory”

‘Jeongi’ Kim Hyeon-joo predicted an action performance that had not been seen before.

On the afternoon of the 12th, the Netflix original movie ‘Jeongi’ (director Yeon Sang-ho) production briefing was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University store in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Actors Ryu Kyung-soo and Kim Hyun-soo and director Yeon Sang-ho attended the event.

It is a science fiction genre depicting the story of people trying to develop the best combat AI by cloning the brain of the legendary mercenary Jeongi (played by Kim Hyun-joo) in order to end the war that broke out in the shelter where they moved away from the earth devastated by climate change. The character of Sang-hoon (Ryu Kyung-soo), the head of the Chronoid Research Center, who speeds up to make the project a success, is also noteworthy. In addition, it is a movie that contains the last appearance of the late Kang Soo-yeon, so it is highly anticipated.

On this day, Kim Hyun-joo said, “It was the same at the time of ‘Hell’. There was a desire or desire inside me, but I was curious that he allowed me to do bold action acting that I couldn’t do before. Viewers loved it,” he said.

He continued, “This time, I had to immerse myself not only in action, but also emotionally. Isn’t it a genre that is rare in Korea? I decided to appear in a really special work. Compared to the past, I do the most action. It’s a challenge I can do.” .

The reason why director Yeon Sang-ho chose Kim Hyeon-joo was similar. He said, “He is an actor who is very good at action. There were a lot of actions during ‘Hell’. He did a really good job at that time too. It is always comfortable to be with Kim Hyun-joo. He is an actor who fits well.”

Meanwhile, ‘Jungi’ will be released on Netflix on the 20th.
