If 70% of Americans are overweight, a 2020 study shows that 47% of French adults are too. Among them, 17% are in a situation of obesity (regarding 8 million people): a figure which has doubled in 25 years. According to some specialists, inflation is likely to favor an increase in the number of people diagnosed as obese.
