“Join us by lighting a candle to raise a prayer for the souls of our loved ones who are already in the presence of the Lord. You can bring your floral offering to the turn to place it at the feet of Jesús del Rescate ”, he indicated.

Said shift is located from 10th avenue A to 11th avenue, on 4th street, in zone 2.

Nazarene Carmelite

  • The image was venerated in the convent of the Discalced Carmelite nuns of Santa Teresa, in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros in Guatemala. The nuns of that order dedicated their lives to serving others, they provided low-income people with food, clothing, among others.
  • These actions brought as a consequence that the economic situation of the convent was difficult, for which the nuns found themselves in the need to pawn some of their belongings, including the Nazarene. However, thanks to the financial help of several devout families, the Nazarene always managed to recover, for this reason he was given the name of Jesus of the Rescue, since he was repeatedly rescued by faithful devotees.
