Announced via an official press release on Wednesday morning, the upcoming policy shift removes the traditional 7kg weight limit for carry-on items. The change takes effect in February 2027. While passengers will no longer face the strict weight restriction that has long governed overhead luggage, strict size limitations will remain in place across the fleet.
