Jimmy Adjovi Bocco: “Senegal deserves it”

Former captain of Benin, Jimmmy Adjovi-Bocco has never played in the World Cup. But that does not prevent him from vibrating for this competition, supporting Africa in general and Senegal in particular. He confides in Philippe Doucet for the Observatoire du Sport Business.

Well known in France for his six seasons at Lens at the end of the 90s (he arrived in 1991, he left just before the 1998 title), Jimmy Adjovi-Bocco is the first supporter of African teams.

Former captain of Benin, the former defender, great supporter of the Blues, tells Philippe Doucet his view of the World Cup in general, and that which takes place in Qatar in particular.

The man who is currently managing director of the Diambars Institute (in Senegal), which he co-founded with his sporting friends, including Patrick Vieira and Bernard Lama, necessarily takes a slightly different look at Senegal, which will face England in the 8th of final.
