The Brand, Events and Ceremonies Department (MEC) particularly carries one of the key promises of the Paris 2024 vision: revolutionary and spectacular games. To this end, it has all the necessary levers to create a strong and different brand that marks its time: identity, content, events, celebrations and ceremonies in particular. To do this, it notably manages and coordinates:
The Ceremonies Department reports to the Executive Director of Brand, Events and Ceremonies (MEC) and is responsible for managing the design, production, integration and delivery of the 4 Paris Ceremonies including the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games which for the first time in the history of the Games will take place in the city with a river parade of athletes along the Seine. Bridges and wharves will accommodate a number of temporary installations
Under the responsibility of the Ceremonies Production Director, the Ceremonies Department is responsible for the operational delivery of all the infrastructures (Grandstand, Energy, Networks, etc.) and services (Catering, Cleaning, Reception, Security, etc.) which will be deployed along the Seine to welcome the different populations (Spectators, Media, Olympic Family, Hospitality). This operational deployment will largely be ensured, under the coordination and supervision of the Paris 2024 Seine Operations team, by the Paname 24 agency which is also responsible for producing the show.
The Seine senior operations and infrastructure project manager reports to the Ceremony operations manager.
MISSIONS :
– Plan and coordinate the development of the delivery of overlay infrastructure on the quays and bridges of the Seine
– Manage the various functions of Paris 2024 in the delivery of their respective operations in conjunction with the service provider in charge of the operational and structural development of the site (Paname 24)
– Define and guarantee the implementation of dedicated service levels for each of the populations supported by Paris 2024
– Ensure the internal link with the departments in charge of commercial opportunities for all site activities
– Ensure the interface between all economic players in the Seine, public authorities and service providers in charge of the operational and structural development of the site
– Manage the monitoring of possible additional studies for which management will be responsible
– Plan, coordinate and report on integration and project development projects
YOUR ASSETS :
– 8 years of experience in large-scale event production management;
– Versatility and strong capacity for adaptation;
– Knowledge of the functioning of a large-scale event project and its organization;
– Knowledge of the issues surrounding major events in public spaces would be a plus;
– The highest standards of integrity and discretion;
– Understanding of the multifunctional dimension of a project, the challenges of each of the parties;
– Sense of organization and priorities.
