Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip showed US President Joe Biden concluding his speech on firearms in Connecticut with the phrase “God save the Queen,” as he focused in his speech on the need to tighten control over the spread of individual weapons in the United States.
According to the White House press office statement, the last thing Biden spoke was, “God save the Queen, the King.”
The White House indicated that the gathering of its journalists had “no idea” regarding the motives of the US President speaking in these terms.
It is worth noting that this phrase does not fit completely with the context in which Biden is speaking.
