The Greens spoke out in favor of Johannes Rauch as the new health minister on Friday. He will thus succeed Wolfgang Mückstein, who resigned on Thursday. Mückstein was in office for less than a year.
Rauch was previously a provincial councilor in Vorarlberg. In the fight against corona, he wants to organize the preparations for next autumn and winter. The new Minister of Health is to be sworn in by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen next week.
