John Isner wins his sixth Atlanta Open

John Isner is definitely at home in Atlanta. The American giant has entered his name on the prize list of the tournament played in the state of Georgia for the sixth time, a record. He took the measure of his young compatriot Brandon Nakashima in a hard-fought duel (7-6 [8], 7-5). Same poster but different outcome than in Los Cabos, where the two men faced each other in the semifinals, with a victory for Nakashima in straight sets.

Despite a second final lost in the space of a week, the 19-year-old confirms that he will have to be counted on in the future. He also came very close to pocketing the first round since he obtained two set points, but failed to materialize. John Isner now has 16 titles on the ATP Tour to his name, 14 of which have been won in the United States.
