Sharjah24 – Archyde.com: Actor Johnny Depp, who made his feature directorial debut with The Brave in 1997, will direct and produce a film regarding Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani.
Depp said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, “The saga of Mr. Modigliani’s life is one that I’m incredibly honoured, and truly humbled, to bring to the screen”.
It was a life of great hardship, but eventual triumph – a universally human story all viewers can identify with.
Depp will also produce the movie alongside veteran actor Al Pacino and producer Barry Navidi, and the project will reportedly begin filming in spring 2023.
